Daniel Mordi, Executive Director.
Daniel Mordi is the incumbent Executive Director for the New Brunswick Student Alliance (NBSA). Prior to this role, he was the president of the student union at the NBCC Fredericton campus, where he took the social service community worker program. During this time, he also volunteered in various capacities and has held different positions. Daniel's notable works included advocacy for the accessibility of healthcare for international students and several liaisons with landlords to secure housing for students new to Canada. While working in different team settings, he advocated for changes in the Miramichi transit bus system: extension of bus working hours and more routes; collaboration to ensure affordable menstrual care products; and facilitated conversations to help the children of students with daycare needs.Through his work, Daniel has consistently striven to create a more inclusive, supportive, and empowered student community. He has a B.Sc. and B.Ed. in political science and adult education, respectively, from Nigeria, his home country..
