Maritime Student Congress

The Maritime Student Congress is a leadership development conference for student association executives. As the first conference of it’s kind in the Maritimes, it is intended to supplement student executive transition by providing networking opportunities, training, and information sessions.

Delegates will meet fellow student executives from across the Maritimes, discuss student issues and shared challenges, and participate in training designed to enhance their performance as student leaders.

In addition to this, there will be information sessions on the history of the student movement, work-life balance, advocacy, policy development, and guest speakers from relevant organizations in higher education across Canada.

The Congress is hosted jointly by Students Nova Scotia and the New Brunswick Student Alliance, with support from the Canadian Alliance of Student Associations and various guest speakers.
