My name is Emily Boucher (she/her), I am from Riverview, NB, serving as Vice President Education for STUSU and I am incredibly thrilled to be the chair this year for the NBSA! I am currently in my third year at STU, honouring in History with minors in French and Anthropology, and have been involved in numerous advocacy initiatives on and off campus. I am passionate about inclusivity, advocacy, and sustainability, and look forward to incorporating these passions in my work with this year’s board of directors as we work towards a more equitable and accessible future for all students in New Brunswick.

Alivia Warr

Hello! My name is Alivia Warr (she/her) and I am a fourth-year International Relations student with double minors in Economics and Political Science at Mount Allison University. I am thrilled to serve as the President & CEO of the MASU and as the Vice-Chair of the NBSA this year. Advocacy at all levels of government is crucial to supporting post-secondary students, and I could not be more excited to support and drive NBSA advocacy initiatives at the provincial level.

My name is Sadie (She/Her) and I'm the Mount Allison Students' Union's Vice President External Affairs. I am a second-year student studying Philosophy, Political Science, and Economics with a minor in Commerce. Originally, I am from Ontario, but being a part of NBSA will help me learn more about the political climate in New Brunswick as well as gain a better understanding of key points of advocacy. I am grateful to have this opportunity and am excited to work with the rest of the board!

Hello! My name is Stevie (She/They) and I am a Wolastoqiyik woman from the beautiful community of Woodstock First Nation. I am a fifth-year student at St. Thomas University, pursuing my Honours in Criminology with a double minor in History and Native Studies. For the past two years, I have served as Indigenous Representative on the St. Thomas University Students’ Union and I am currently the president for the 2023/24 academic year. This year, I hope to bring advocacy closer to students and advance the student agenda in hopes of a more affordable, equitable and equal education for all students.

Hi! My name is Maddie and I’m the University of New Brunswick Student Representative Council’s President & CEO. I’m a fourth-year science student with a double major in Biology and Psychology and a minor in Philosophy. You’ll usually find me in my office with a giant cup of coffee, but I also love to hike in Fundy Park, play music with friends and cheer on the UNBSJ Seawolves! This is my third year in student government and I’m so excited to work with the NBSA to represent NB students on affordability, employment and experiential learning opportunities, open educational resources, and more.

My name is Walter Fuerniss (he/him) and I am a fourth year student at the University of New Brunswick's Saint John campus where I am completing my Bachelor's of Business Administration with majors in both Marketing and Digital Business Design. I am incredibly proud to be able to represent my school and am likewise honored to be on the BoD for the NBSA this year! I look forward to being able to join this incredible team in delivering actionable results for students across this province all while ensuring that the issues most relevant to the lives of my fellow students are both recognised and addressed effectively!
